The rate moves twice before lunch. Your stock is worth something different each time. Atelier is one app for the whole shop, and it already knows by how much.

Folio 2 · The questions it answers every day
Six questions a jeweller asks himself every week and answers by memory. Each one is a screen.
Dead stock
Every piece past the mark you set, with what it cost you, what it is listed at, and how far the price can come down before you lose money. Then you decide: discount, remake, melt, or leave. The decision is stored against the piece, so the list stops asking you twice.
Karigar
Wastage compared karigar by karigar, but only on the same kind of work, and only once every job is converted to the same purity, because a setter and a polisher lose different amounts by the nature of the work. Where you agreed an allowance, it is measured against that. Where you did not, nobody is shown failing an agreement they never made.
Order book
Every order taken and not yet delivered, and whether the rate rise since you quoted comes out of your margin or out of her pocket. Told in words, not in plus and minus signs: “you absorb ₹3,600”, or “she pays ₹3,600 more”. Before she walks in to collect.
Khata
A running khata per customer in rupees and in grams, kept side by side, that prints exactly like the bahi you keep now and never disagrees with your sales register. Old gold received, advances, part payments, all on one running balance.
Counter
Scan the tag. The full breakup is on screen at the live rate: gold, polki, stones, labour, each priced separately. Send her the quote card on WhatsApp before she leaves the counter, with or without the breakdown showing.
Staff
Every sale waits for your sign-off. A salesperson cannot delete a sale, a customer or a karigar record. She can only ask you to. Every action is written to a log nobody can erase, including yours.

Folio 3 · At the counter
The old answer was a number in your head, arrived at from a rate you half-remembered and a labour charge you rounded. It was usually close. Close is where the margin goes.
Atelier holds every piece as what it is made of: so much gold at so much a gram, so many carats of polki, so much labour. Change the rate and every piece in the shop re-prices at once. Nothing to recalculate, nothing to update, nothing to remember.
Folio 4 · And everything else the shop writes down
All of it inside the same app, on every phone and counter in the shop, for every staff member, with nothing charged extra for any of it.
Folio 5 · What it costs
No per-device charge. No separate module for salesmen carrying pieces out. No annual maintenance charge from year two. The monthly payment runs on an automatic mandate you can stop any month, with no notice period and no exit charge.
Software of this kind is normally sold at ₹1.25–1.75 lakh upfront, plus twenty per cent of that every year afterwards.
One thing worth knowing before your bank asks: the mandate you approve shows a ceiling of ₹5,000 a month, because an Indian mandate authorises a maximum rather than an amount. What is taken is ₹499 and then ₹3,999. Why that is, in full.
Folio 6 · How it starts
First
On a video call, or at your counter if you are near Udaipur. We load twenty of your own pieces and show you your own dead-stock list on your own stock. No cost, and nothing to commit to.
Then
About two weeks, working around your counter while the shop trades as normal. Your staff photograph the pieces on the phones they already carry; we enter every breakup and check it with you, screen to screen. You type nothing, and it costs nothing extra — it starts once you're on the first month.
Live
On their own phones, on your own stock, on the floor where they will use it. Then we stay on the phone for as long as you need us. Support is not a separate charge and never becomes one.
